Technology and Our Children
Whether we like to admit it or not the kids off today addicted to some form of technology with the Phones, tablets, Laptops, or computers. Technology an app companies spending hundreds of millions of dollars to make sure that the population is glued to the digital device as it is now the most powerful medium for them to sell two and make profit from. This problem is here to stay and to stay for ever.
How have they become addicted
Unfortunately, when technology of supercomputer took the form of handheld device, we all ran into these fancy new gadgets that could surf the Internet, send pictures, take pictures, and connect with our friends and family instantly. That has led to us using these wonderful devices to entertain our children as well. Children have no gotten better at using these devices and now use these devices as a form of connection to themselves and the world.
What do we do now?
I believe that we have to educate and foster the growth of our children's effective use of these technologies rather than telling them that they can't use it or taking it away from them. If we try and break this addiction by taking their devices away from them and stopping them from using the devices completely, even if its temporarily this is going to hurt them more mentally than the device will.
